Materials & Processes
We are looking for motivated students currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Material Science, or a closely related discipline.
As an Intern you will gain hands on experience in material characterization, testing, and documentation while helping validate new manufacturing approaches used in our space products.
- Write the technical documentation required to qualify materials & processes used in space applications
- Define how to characterize different material properties from metals, composites, paints, and other materials used in our products
- Supervise the manufacturing and testing of specimens
- Analyze test data, and provide your interpretation based on the theoretical data you learnt during your studies
- Develop new manufacturing concepts and perform their validation
Test Engineering
We are looking for motivated students currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical-, electrical-, or aerospace engineering, or a closely related discipline.
As an intern, you can expect to be actively involved in real engineering work within the space sector: supporting research, development and testing of mechanisms used on satellites.
- You will help set up and execute tests, analyze results, and document your work in a highly demanding engineering environment where reliability is critical.
- Working closely with experienced engineers across disciplines, you will contribute to solving concrete technical challenges and gain hands-on insight into how space-qualified mechanisms are designed, validated, and prepared for use in orbit.
Quality Management
We are looking for motivated students currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a closely related discipline.
As an Intern in Quality, you will support the development and execution of quality processes while gaining hands on experience in compliance, continuous improvement, and cross functional collaboration.
- Support process definition and optimization by analysing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to the development of clear and efficient processes in collaboration with different departments.
- Maintain high quality standards in alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements, ensuring compliance and consistency through detailed documentation.
- Support in mission-critical quality activities, including documentation reviews, and corrective actions, helping ensure product reliability and operational excellence.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, applying data-driven insights and best practices to propose improvements in overall quality performance and reduced risks.
- Collaborate across departments and international teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives, effective communication, and timely resolution of quality-related issues.
- Contribute to risk management and root cause analysis, supporting preventive measures and applying structured problem-solving techniques to minimize potential quality failures.
System Engineering
We are looking for motivated students currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical-, electrical-, or aerospace engineering, or a closely related discipline.
You will perform technical system-level analyses and set up breadboard test cycles to support the development of cutting-edge space technology and help the team with on-time delivery of satellite mechanisms and structures to customers across the space industry.
- Participate in technical activities such as testing, documentation review, guideline creation
- Support in the creation of a requirement database for the different product lines
- Breaks down the technical requirements to subsystems generating specifications for customer, supplier and subcontractors.
- Writes technical documentations, project related deliverables and other specifications (e.g. Test Plan)
- Carries out technical risk management and perform Root Cause Analysis
Manufacturing Engineering
