Barbara Frei-Spreiter

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Dr. Barbara Frei-Spreiter, a Swiss citizen with over 25 years of global experience. She studied mechanical engineering, earned a doctorate in electrical engineering from ETH Zurich, and holds an Executive MBA from IMD in Lausanne. She began her professional career in 1998 at the technology group ABB. There, she assumed leadership roles in development and service, as well as global profit responsibility in various positions as country, regional, and business unit manager. In 2016, she joined the energy technology and automation group Schneider Electric, which employs 177,000 people worldwide, where she most recently served as a member of the Executive Committee and was responsible for the global Industrial Automation division, which generated revenue of 7,022 million euros. Prior to that, she led the European business and the DACH region, among other roles. 

Oliver Grassmann

Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Beyond Gravity

Oliver Grassmann, a Swiss-German dual citizen bringing over twenty years of experience in leadership, strategy, and business reengineering, took the helm of the Satellites Division at Beyond Gravity in May 2023. Since 1 January 2026, he is responsible as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Beyond Gravity's integrated business organization. Prior to this, he served as Beyond Gravity's Chief Transformation Officer and Vice President of Corporate Strategy. He began his career as a structural engineer before transitioning into various leadership roles in the aerospace industry. His expertise lies in business strategy, operational leadership, performance improvement, and operational excellence in response to changing market requirements. Oliver holds a Master's degree in engineering from the Technical University of Munich and an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK) and the University of North Carolina (US).

Angelo Quabba

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Angelo Quabba, an Italian-Swiss dual citizen, has held the position of CFO of RUAG International and Beyond Gravity since the end of 2020. He brings a wealth of executive experience from roles at Gurit Holding AG, Bruker BioSpin, and SR Technics Group, where he served as CFO for many years. Prior to this, he held finance and controlling positions at Honeywell and Zellweger Analytics. Angelo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences HWZ and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.
